Motorcycle Charity Ride for Baptist Children's Homes of NC

Please NOTE: Anyone operating a motorcycle on Ride to Clyde must complete this registration. If two people are sharing a room but each one is operating his/her own motorcycle, each person must complete a registration.

UPDATE: Both the East to West and West to East routes are at full capacity and are closed. New registrations will be waitlisted. Any registrations after April 10 will be waitlisted.

We do not accept payment of fees by credit card over the phone.

I acknowledge that I am responsible for the following expenses: fuel, incidentals and any meals not covered by the Full Package registration fee. No meals are included in the Single Day Package.*

I acknowledge that I am agreeing to raise funds towards a donation to the Baptist Children’s Homes of North Carolina. The funds may be the result of pledges for miles ridden or other donations. These funds are in addition to the applicable registration fee.*

I acknowledge that I am responsible for ensuring that my motorcycle is in good working order. Should my motorcycle become inoperable I am responsible for all costs related to its repair, including but not limited to towing fees.*

I acknowledge that I am riding with a group of motorcyclists that have agreed to obey traffic laws as well as the riding instructions provided by the Road Captain assigned to my group. Careless and/or reckless driving will not be tolerated. I acknowledge that failure to ride in a lawful manner and/or to abide by the instructions provided by my assigned Road Captain may result in my dismissal from the Ride to Clyde. Registration fees for those dismissed from the Ride to Clyde are non-refundable.*

I acknowledge that I possess a proper motorcycle endorsement recognized in North Carolina allowing me to legally ride a motorcycle.*

I acknowledge that I possess liability insurance for myself and the motorcycle I am riding. The Baptist State Convention of North Carolina, the Baptist Children’s Homes of North Carolina nor any other sponsors of the Ride to Clyde are responsible for any claims related to damages to the motorcycle I am riding, or my person, in the event of an accident.*

Select camp to visit: Due to space limitations for bike parking at the Boys and Girls camps, we're asking East to West riders to let us know which camp they prefer to visit. Riding groups will be organized, in part, based upon the answer to this question. We encourage those wishing to ride together in the same group to provide the same answer to this question. The Full Package for Single Riders

Registration fee is $185 dollars and includes the following:

• Depending upon the route chose, accommodations are as follows:

ROUTE: East to West, 3 nights lodging (NC Baptist Assembly at Fort Caswell, Caraway Conference Center and Lake Junaluska Conference Center)

ROUTE: West to East, 3 nights lodging (one night at Truett Camp and Conference Center, two nights at Lake Junaluska.)

• Thursday Breakfast, Lunch and Supper

• Friday Breakfast and Supper

• Saturday Breakfast

Riders are responsible for all meals not listed above, fuel and any other incidentals they might incur.

Linens are included at all conference centers. Shampoo and hair dryers are not provided at all conference centers.

All participants are challenged to join in the fundraising effort by seeking pledges for miles ridden or straight donations totaling $150 or more. Distance ridden for the entire Ride to Clyde is estimated at 460 miles.

The Full Package for Husband/Wife or Parent/Child Riding the Same Bike

Registration fee is $220 dollars and includes all of the above. Couples and Parent/Child will be assigned the same room for lodging.

Husband/Wife and Parent/Child riding the same bike are challenged to join in the fundraising effort by seeking pledges for miles ridden or straight donations totaling $150 or more. Distance ridden for the entire Ride to Clyde is estimated at 460 miles.

The Single Day Package is $60 dollars:

Riders interested in joining the Ride to Clyde for a single day will have a registration fee of $60 dollars. There is no charge for joining only the Saturday ride but Saturday-only riders are still required to register.

Single Day Riders are also challenged to raise/donate funds for Baptist Children's Homes of North Carolina, but an amount is not specified.
