Kennedy Home Campus of Baptist Children's Homes, Kinston
Camp BAM is an intergenerational camp for all ages that provides an opportunity to be the hands and feet of Jesus to serve aging adults in need. Campers will connect personally with local seniors and meet some of their safety needs by constructing wheelchair ramps, installing grab bars and smoke alarms, and performing yard work. (Construction experience is not necessary; each crew will have an experienced leader.)
Camp BAM includes:
Construction project materials
Meals and snacks donated by individuals, churches, and local restaurants
Fun activities such as icebreakers and cookouts
Worship sessions with debriefings about the projects and the person(s) to be served
Schedule
June 23: Registration / afternoon arrival
June 24 & 25: Project workdays at jobsites
June 26: Sunday worship / special connections
June 27: Optional morning projects at Kennedy Home
Cost for this all-inclusive camp is $175 per camper.
$50 non-refundable deposit per camper is due May 1.
Balance of $125 per camper is due June 1.
